At BrightStone ElderCare Solutions, we believe everyone deserves access to a gerontologist, an Aging Life Care Specialist® who can support you as you support your loved ones. I provide professional guidance through consultations to older adults and their caregivers facing the challenges of aging to find the most appropriate and cost-effective resources available.

The goal is to lead individuals and their families to the actions and decisions that will ensure quality care and an optimal life for those they love, thus reducing worry, stress, and time off for family caregivers.

Kathleen is a credentialed gerontologist and an aging life care specialist who enjoys speaking on topics such as: Brain Health as You Age, Where to Turn for Help When Your Parent Needs Help and Talking to Your Doctor: Taking an Active Role in Your Health Care.

Kathleen Steamer, MSG, CPG

Kathleen Steamer is a credentialed gerontologist who has spent over 25 years working with older adults and individuals with disabilities and their families in the capacities of an Aging Life Care Manager® and consultant, director of social services, director of activities for dementia programming, and employment specialist.  

Educational Background 

Kathleen earned her bachelor's degree in legal studies at the University of Massachusetts and completed an internship with AARP in Washington D.C. with a focus on legal advocacy in meeting the end-of-life and legal needs of older adults. In 2014, she completed a master's degree in Gerontology, Management of Aging Services at the University of Massachusetts.

Kathleen is a professional member in good standing in the National Association for Professional Gerontologists, Professional Society of Sigma Phi Omega, and The Aging Life Care Association®.
